Got bit up. Told the front desk, they told me that there was nothing that they could do and that I had to wait for management. Waited on management, emailed them pictures and videos of bites and live bugs. I asked numerous times to receive a formal, written incident report but have yet to receive one. Management keeps saying they’ll call back but I’m the one who has to keep calling them. I’ve alerted DHEC, BBB and code enforcement to try to help ensure nobody else goes through this. I’m allergic and will eventually have to go to a doctor for antibiotics/steroids but am waiting for the incident report. I expect full compensation for my room, my deposit and any further medical bills associated to this or I will be seeking legal action. Happy 18 year anniversary to me and my wife, very disappointed in Econolodge."
