Fabulous stay at the suite, great communication and they went over and above with helpful information and real time replies for any questions we had. The property is spotless and well equipped with everything you need.
Great location for everything you need to explore corfu town.
I'd highly recommend and would 100% stay again in the future xx

Very clean, recently remodeled hotel in the perfect location in Old Town. It's a 3 minute walk away from the Old Fortress and near so many restaurants it was hard to pick a place each day. The staff were super friendly and helpful, available at all hours. Breakfast here was absolutely delicious; the patatopita and spanakopita were the best I had during my trip. Fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and high quality tea rounded it out. If I'm ever back in Corfu, I'm staying here and only...

Absolutely excellent in all respects. The staff could not have ben more helpful. Room and bathroom extremely well appointed with many electric sockets at desk height - bliss! First class hot and cold breakfast buffet. And a great location to walk into the port area for all shops, bars, restaurants etc.

The location was absolutely amazing. we woke up looking at the sea and at the same time we were right in the middle of the beautiful old town with all the shops and restaurants ypu could ask for. There was even a little beach just down the road. We loved it.

Fantastic, authentically Greek hotel! Yes, it could do with some updating in areas but we absolutely loved its charm. We were on the 5th floor at the front and the views were stunning. Staff were very helpful and professional. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range from continental, fruit, pastries to cooked items. Loved every minute, even the ancient lift! Will definitely return!

Large 2 bed apartment in the heart of corfu Town, walking distance to the historic Old Town, host communication was excellent and helpful. Everything as described and host was helpful when we has questions about corfu or the apartment, I would strongly recommend 👌

Room cleaned every day, towels changed on request, air conditioning ensured room was always cool enough. Breakfast is available, as are lunch and poolside snacks and drinks, the latter until 10-00pm. A car is helpful, as nearest restaurant is 500 metres away although it’s almost a kilometre from the start of the strip where there are numerous restaurants, but remember the walk back from town is uphill. There is a bus stop 500 metres from Corfelia, which if you are going to the far end of Ipsos...

We found this one by surprise on Hotel.com. We have stayed in other places on the island in the past and have not been pleased with the cleanliness or the condition of the rooms - SO, finding Folies was a wonder. For us the location was good to visit with family. It is interesting near a road, but the noise is cushioned considerably by the lovely gardens around. The staff were fantastic, and helpful. I returned to this hotel having stayed there last year for one night before begining a hiking holiday. This year I stayed in a standard double room with sea view and balcony. Lovely views of the bay and marina. Ideally placed to walk to tavernas, cafés/restaurants, shops and cultural/historic sites. Restaurants adjacent to the hotel closed early evening, so no disturbance to relaxation and sleeping.
Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained.

Madalena was very lovely and welcoming. We really enjoyed our short stay here and the sunsets are really stunning. The beach is a very short walk away and is well kept.
Try one of her ice coffee's!

Very clean, friendly staff. A nice small apartment, all we needed. Bit of a remote location - but they do suggest and offer car hire to get to beaches etc. They arranged airport transfer efficiently and offered to call them again if the flight couldn't leave (weather).

The best area to stay in Agios Gordios is directly in the village centre, particularly along the main street that leads down to the beach. This area offers the most convenience and access to amenities.
The village centre is compact and built around a main road that gently slopes towards the sea. Here, you'll find a good selection of tavernas, cafes, and small shops. The beach itself is a significant draw, a long stretch of golden sand with clear waters, framed by lush green cliffs. You'll find sun loungers and umbrellas available, and the water is generally calm, making it suitable for swimming.
For couples looking for a relaxed beach holiday with easy access to dining and evening strolls, staying near the beachfront is ideal. You're just steps away from enjoying the sunset over the Ionian Sea and can easily walk to various restaurants for dinner. Many accommodations in this area offer balconies with sea views, adding to the romantic appeal.
Families will also find staying in the village centre very practical. With the beach so close, it's easy to manage trips with children, and there are several family-run tavernas offering traditional Greek meals.
When is the best time to go to Agios Gordios?
The best time to go to Agios Gordios is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and early October.
These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures great for beach activities and exploring, but without the intense heat and larger crowds of the peak summer months. You'll find the sea warm enough for swimming, and the village's tavernas and shops will be fully open. This period is ideal for those who appreciate a relaxed pace and good value.
For families, late May and early June are excellent as the sea is warming up, and the resorts are fully operational but not yet at their busiest. You'll find plenty of space on the beach for children to play, and excursions are readily available.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will particularly enjoy September and early October. The atmosphere becomes more tranquil as the main summer rush subsides, allowing for peaceful evenings and uncrowded strolls along the beach.
