"Arrived very late from a delayed flight at Newcastle Airport (3.30am). This was no problem for check in and the person on the desk was so lovely and cheery considering the time. Gave us help with parking the car and then got straight up to the room. Big room, very clean and a super comfy bed and pillows. Slept very well in the room despite people coming and going. Didn’t hear too much. We opted for the breakfast for convenience when we booked. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice and GF options. Coffee machine and cooked breakfast all good. We would recommend and come back. Thanks so much! "

"The hotel is easy to find, and ideally located for visiting Beamish Museum. It is very attractive, and the bar and restaurant areas have great views westwards over the valley. Each ground floor room has its own car parking slot - wonderful! The staff are friendly and helpful, and a small bonus for me, the malt whisky is cheaper than the pub down the road .... I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area, there was nothing I did not like."
