"We had a wonderful few days in beautiful Rothbury. The apartment was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Especially like the TV being hidden away. All the neighbours were friendly and the local pubs/restaurants were great. Juliette thought of everything and the stay was totally uneventful, peaceful and relaxing. Thank you Juliette PS fab to bring the dogs too."

"This property is just as described. It has great views over the birding sanctuary. While it is a bit out of town, it is close enough to explore this coast easily and have a quiet place to relax in between excursions. There is a lift to the first floor where the apartment is and there are stairs inside the apartment to the living and kitchen area. The small bathroom has a shower and the larger bathroom has a tub. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others."

"Lovely little cottage. Had everything one needed, especially in the kitchen. Appliances easy to operate. Very comprehensive folder about the cottage and area. Appreciated the many suggestions. Nice courtyard garden, to enjoy the many goodies in the welcome back. Older, or people with mobility issues might find the three steps up to front door tricky. However, there are handrails."

"Great communication before arrival. Upon arriving I was met by a lady who showed me to the apartment. I was very happy with the apartment. Everything I needed for a few days. Parking was no problem as the apartments have their own car park. It us a short drive from shops but you don't have to go miles. Would certainly book again if I'm in the area."

I also had to contact the owner on the evening of our arrival to complain that there was no soap. This was dropped through the letterbox the following morning. The property was not clean. For example, the light in the bathroom is super bright and motion activated -- imagine going there at night... and the sensor doesn't "see" the shower, so the light goes off just as you've shampooed your head. "Very nice property, was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. John's communication was excellent. Just could of done with a small bin in each bedroom and there was only 1 dishwasher tablet but these are only minor things but holiday and house was very adequate for our stay at Newbiggin on the sea. We even spotted dolphins from the bedroom window. Parking was ok on the road outside. 5 stars given. Kevin and family"

"Lovely room location great. The only complaint is the housekeeping as coffee wasn’t replenished at all and the water on one day. Bed wasn’t made at all. The Joiners Arms was nice breakfast on the last day was a bit short staffed as was busy and only one person serving and items needed replenishing mainly bread."

"This was a great place to spend our last night of travel.Train was accessible to go back into Newcastle for one last evening at the pub with family. We were a one minute walk to airport and rooms were comfortable. We had asked for early check in which wasn’t ready but one room was ready and we stowed all luggage in that room . Good food and drinks!"
