"This hotel being a 5 star is a joke. The rooms are very old and the bathroom had a very bad smell to it. The room was not maintained well and was dirty. I have stayed at numerous 3,4, and 5 star hotels all over the world. This was by far the worst hotel and experience. The hot water did not work properly for showers and the lights went out at least once an hour. The restaurant’s food was very oily and they did not serve proper lunch after 1:30pm so for check in we had very few options. We had to...

"5-star facade with 2-star service and condition. The lobby is beautiful and the room sizes are large (2 bathrooms, a sitting room, and bedroom). However the condition was poor. Our sheets were dirty upon arrival, which they did change (to clean but stained sheets). My mother's room had mold in several places, including the mattress. They reluctantly changed her room. All of the linens and curtains had stains and mold spots; which I'm sure is tough to manage in the climate but they need to be...

"Hotel was nice and clean. But there is no air conditioning even in premium rooms. Also every evening they arranged camp fire and played loins music. It was really difficult to sleep when there is no A/C and loins music is playing outside."

"Hotel is located approx 22 km from Munnar town centre, its not ideal if you like to visit other places around. Half time wasted climbing up and down from the town centre. Food cost very high, a lot better options if you eat outside but again the annoying journey up and down. Overall its a OK place if you want to just stay in the hotel and don't mind food cost."
