"Only negative thing to review is there is construction right outside my window across the street, and the hotel is under going renovations. When I checked in at reception, they asked if I was aware of the renos, which I wasn’t. Well, at 7am (when you don’t want to me awake on vacation!) the Reno’s start :( "

"Hotel was great! Very new and modern hotel in the heart of Copenhagen. We were there during the stock market building fire (obviously beyond their control) which made the hotel smell like smoke, but the hotel staff went through vigorous lengths to remove the smell from the building in a timely manor, which was well appreciated. Hotel is close to transportation and many good restaurants which is beneficial. Would definitely recommend this hotel again in Copenhagen."

"This will be a strange review in that I didn't leave the room for the entire stay. I didn't eat in the restaurant, and I didn't explore the area, although the area looked to be amazing. I came down with food poisoning and double pneumonia while in Berlin ( on my way to Copenhagen.) The staff could not have been kinder. When, on a Sunday, when I inquired about a clinic, they saw to it that a doctor came to the hotel. That alone makes this hotel stand out in my mind. "

"The location of Danhostel is quite central and was perfect for us. Our room was spacious and clean, with a big bathroom and walk-in shower. The staff at reception and behind the bar was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and had plenty of choices to suit everyone. The addition of pastries would be nice. We didn’t use all the facilities but saw the self-catering kitchen, laundry room, games room etc. which all seemed clean and well kitted. Danhostel has everything, we will...

"Great Hotel - not too big, great staff, cool restaurant and bar - close to everything. "

"Central to Copenhagen. Tivoli Gardens, little mermaid and museums etc within walking distance. Hotel drinks and food expensive, however food was delicious. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Copenhagen. "
