Tivoli Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The reception area was always staffed (at least 3 people). The hotel room was big enough for a family stay with 2 kids for a few days with a sofabed - but next time I would choose the connecting rooms for more space (my kids are 5 and 8) and also as the bathroom does not have its own light (turns on with entrance light), which can be disturbing for the kids on sofabed as the light might wake them up. (There is a shaving mirror you can turn on that gives enough nightlight). The room was clean at arrival. However, be aware you have to book the cleaning (after) as it is not automatically done daily. Reception staff (and everyone else) was really helpful, and dealt with enquiries really quickly. The breakfast selection (buffet style) was good. As it was a family holiday with young children had not used the bar but it looked good."

"Great hotel, really enjoyed our stay. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and nice and clean. Lovely little gym, pool and sauna, which we used a couple of times. Despite being right by the airport the sound insulation is excellent so there is no noise in the rooms. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've experienced and customer service excellent."

"Our second time staying at Copenhagen Island and it's still great. Only disappointment is that the restaurant is no longer open for dinner. Rooms were clean, nice breakfast (although VERY crowded) and the harbour pool just outside is lovely for a swim. Also only a few minutes walk away from supermarket and shopping centre, and a short underground trip into the centre of Copenhagen."

"Our stay was very pleasant. It is a very big hotel maybe meant more for business travel tan for family stays simply because of the size of it, and that there were a lot of business groups. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is overall very clean, and comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are of a good size, not huge but comfortable. The breakfast buffet is very well managed, with plenty of food and beverages. It is fresh, well prepared. We enjoyed it a lot. There are a few areas that are a little bit run down if I must be honest, specially the elevators that are very small, only 3 people fit comfortably, if you have suitcases it’s probably maximum 2 people. So you have to wait long to use them and they feel a bit old. I used the stairs a few times. A few walls, including the bedroom, need to be wiped down and maybe repainted here and there, but nothing major. Overall it was a good experience."

"The room itself was fine, but the bed was definitely a little uncomfortable and very noisy. The breakfast was amazing, possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. The gym and wellness/spa center were also very well maintained and enjoyable. The common areas of the hotel are beautiful, and it’s located just a 5-minute walk from the Bella Center tram station. I would absolutely stay there again, but I would choose a better room."
