Room was lovely, staff were lovely, area was lovely and the buffet breakfast was extraordinary. Highly recommend.

We unexpectedly had a hot tub on our balcony, the rooms were absolutely huge and beautifully decorated and staff were so polite and helpful

Absolutely loved this boutique hotel and would definitely recommend. Teh

Great place to stay. This was my second stay. Pleasent a previous.

This hotel is a real gem. Michelle the manager is efficient, friendly and very helpful. Everything has been thought of, and the breakfasts are to die for. If you are looking for a 5 star experience but don't want a corporate faceless hotel this is the place for you.

Loved the old money, relaxed vibe

Great stay in a fun hotel

We paid Expedia the full amount for our Deluxe Surcharge room on booking and were informed that our reservation was booked, that there there was no need to re-confirm and that our room was guaranteed for late arrival. Friendly great location in 25mins from airport. Hotel organised our pick up & we got Uber in our return. Delicious breakfast & dinner. Service excellent. We had a massage & was one of my best. Well done team Giglio.

Amazing accommodation would highly recommend this place. All the rooms are big modern and clean. I’ve stayed here twice now and when in joburg I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. It has a very homely feel. Jackie the owner is lovely and super friendly.

The Saxon is one of the great hotels in the world. Elegant, discreet, very secure, it is a joy to be there. Outstanding architecture with spectacular interiors. I have returned to it over the past 12 years and look forward to our next stay.

Excellent staff. Fast check-in. Lovely property.

This hotel was selected for its location and on travellers reviews, so I was a little perturbed when the star rating was reduced from five to four after I had confirmed my reservation. This proved to be unfounded. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay. Attention to detail and service was always beyond reproach.

I feel so good here

Amazing stay, would highly recommend.
