I had an amazing 4 day stay at the Marine Hotel. My room was very comfortable and it had an amazing view of the golf course and across the sea to the Isle of Arran in the distance. All members of staff I encountered we very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The service was first class. The hotel has beautiful scenic views and gorgeous interior. The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming, starting with reception, to house keeping, to the staff at the spa/pool and lastly but not least the restaurant staff. I did, however, have one negative experience which was that I passed out in the spa sauna - the high tempature and my low blood pressure were not a good mix. Superb luxury hotel .. right on the Loch yet 20 miles or so from Glasgow . Very top end spot yet totally unpretentious . Lots of restaurants and bars , great well appointed room and a common theme of professional staff in all areas of the hotel . Our room was very nice, well appointed with good storage and en-suite and we had a nice Loch view .
