"Obviously, there is some works going on so improvements are being made, but for example our room, it had a chipped sink and bedside cabinets. The outside seating could be improved, especially how nice an outside area it is. The location and views were excellent though and the staff very nice and helpful. Overall, I would stay again, also knowing there is going to be a swimming pool is an attractive addition. Parking was also a big plus in this location"

"Our room was upgraded on arrival, and the room was perfect, floor to ceiling windows with a perfect view of the lake. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. The spa was lovely, The only downside was the building work going on outside but they seemed to keep disruption to a minimum"

"They have multiple buildings on the property. We had 2 rooms, not in the same building. Both were excellent, but one was superior and also had a washer/dryer. They were the same price, but room 30, was much more convenient, than the rooms in the 40’s. Longer walk and up a tight stairwell. Besides that, both rooms were great. Very spacious and convenient. Restaurant was full and no other dining options close by, so that was unfortunate. Our fault for booking last miniute though."

"Hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff were all very attentive and polite. Only down side was there was functions on 2 days while we were there and the music was loud and travelled to our room. We weren't warned about this pervious even though reception said we should of got an email about it. It did turn off at midnight but did keep us awake. Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice and staff were very helpful. Would book again but would check for functions before booking. "
