"Exterior didn't look too exciting but once we got inside it was fine. Rustic but pleasant. Room was a bit small, hence no chairs, but the beds were very comfortable. Generally nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. Would stay there again."

"Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit. "

"This is a true local spot — expect pints being poured right at reception! Jamie, who runs the place, is a gem. Room was small with a charming view, though right on a busy road. Shared bathroom was clean but not the most convenient setup. Bonus points for the backyard garden and a great selection of proper beers. "
