Absolutely beautiful hotel in the old jail, so many of the original features with a modern feel. Breakfast was incredible, best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and the continental selection was amazing.

Breakfasts were excellent. Parking brilliant. Room was very comfortable. Would highly recommend lovely staff. Also lots to visit ie Charlestown & Lost gardens of Heligan.

I stay in a lot of hotels with my work trips and this is one of the best if not the best place to stay. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a warm, helpful and happy check in. All the staff are extremely polite and go out of their way to make your stay as relaxing and pleasent as possible. Very nice comfortable hotel with really friendly helpful staff. Good food and clean facilities. Close to the really pretty Charlestown harbour and some excellent restaurants close by for a change.

Just like the other reviews, we had a lovely weekend in a lovely hotel, with great views and fantastic staff who couldn't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Reserve parking is a must! The food was great and they even accomodated our daughter with a lovely kids menu. We had an inland room (no view) but still a great room and had plenty of time to enjoy view from restaurant and bar during our stay. We will definitely be returning soon@

We arrived to a beautiful, clean well equipped cottage. Colin, our host, was very friendly and helped us to settle in.

The room was clean and spacious the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car. As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times. We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves. We would not hesitate to return.

We were upgraded to a spa sea view double room as it was my partner’s birthday. So very kind and thoughtful and the room’s amazing and definitely has the wow factor! It was warm and sunny - so, the view was at it very best! Absolutely stunning!

Had a lovely stay at Pengelly Farmhouse. A beautiful properly, spotlessly clean and lovely thoughtful touches. Homemade biscuits were lovely and even some treats for our dog. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and perfectly cooked! We will most definitely be back again, thank you!

First class furnishings, including very wide and comfortable bed, and good ensuite. The breakfast room was closed because of Covid 19, but the room service breakfast was very comprehensive and very generous, and delicious!

Beautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway.
