"I've always loved the Ameristar Casino hotel rooms. They offer smoking/they have an iron and board in room/fridge in room {although I understand why the microwaves were removed long ago}/the bathroom especially. Separate toilet room full bathtub and separate shower! It's the cost that's hinder my stays. This happened to be a Family member Funeral Service in Chicago and the family had a 10 room block. I could NEVER get that rate in St. Charles.($145 nightly Thurs - Mon + resort fees only $10.)..THANK YOU AMERISTAR CASINO EAST CHICAGO!!"

"This is my second time staying here, and even though they’re doing some renovations, it was still very comfortable. I have seen some reviews that say the construction from renovation made their experience terrible—it had no impact on my stay at all. There was no noise, my room was just fine, and all of the amenities were available. I saw a guy painting in the lobby when I was leaving, and that’s it. It was clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the location is convenient. "
