"Nice hotel close to downtown and train station"
We have never stayed in a hotel with the quality of service we experienced at Park House hotel. the personnel in the front desk, but particularly the people taking care of the luggage storage/car parking were very helpful. the room was clean and very quiet.

"High Quality hotel close to town centre"
This is a high quality hotel close to the city centre , 5 min walk from Eyre Square. The restaurant breakfast and dinner were excellent, the room was spacious and clean and the staff were very courteous. The car park at the premises for EUR 5 per day for guests is also an added bonus. If you're travelling into Galway by train or coach both stations are very close.

"Very nice clean hotel"
This hotel looks bright from the outside and does not disappoint once inside. We had 2 rooms and both were neat and clean and had very comfy beds. Brekfast was good in a nicely laid out area with a good choice for all, my wife and sister-in-law had the fruit and cerials whilst I had the full Irish. There was even a proper internal bar, much better than some hotels lounges etc.

"Awesome Hotel!"
From checking in for our two night stay until morning checkout, this hotel is the best stay we've experienced in Ireland. The room was comfy and quiet, the staff was extremely accommodating, the bar, restaurant food, service was over the top. Will definitely be returning. We missed experiencing The West Gourmet Resturant, was closed Monday and Tuesday nights (the same nights of our stay).

Galway’s Hotels Are a Gateway to Heritage and History

With a pub seemingly on every street corner, it’s easy to find the sounds of traditional Irish music. The fiddlers and bodhran drummers flock to Galway, which counts Irish music as a major part of its heritage. There are also many sights to see in town, with a superb medieval church, the city’s original walls and landmarks dating back to the “Tribes” – the 14 merchant families who once ruled the town. Galway’s cobbled streets, colourful buildings and the sparkling River Corrib all create an atmosphere that is sure to delight every visitor.

Plan Your Visit to Artistic Galway from the Comfort of Your Hotel

Galway’s nickname is “The City of Festivals” and it’s no secret why. The Galway International Arts Festival takes over Galway’s streets for a fortnight every summer, and the city is rightly proud of the festival, which is the biggest in all Ireland. In October, the Galway Theatre Festival takes place with plenty to showcase the city’s vibrant arts scene in the best possible light. Even if you can’t catch one of the festivals, there’s lots of other opportunities to see some of Ireland’s finest performers. Galway has five major theatres, and the staff at your four star hotel will be only too happy to help you decide which play to see first.

    See the Most of Galway

Galway has lots of well-preserved relics of ancient Ireland within easy reach and you should be able to get some great advice from hotel staff about which of the county’s dolmens and Neolithic standing stones to visit. For those interested in more recent history, Galway is the location for several castles dating back to the Norman invaders.

    Galway’s Best Restaurants

Galwegians are proud of their food and the city has some of the best restaurants in Ireland. The organic food scene has really taken off recently, and there’s also a great variety of world cuisines to choose from. For liquid inspiration try the city centre pubs, which stock some delightful craft beers and stouts.
