"Nice place in the suburbs"
The hotel looks a bit older in design, but don't let that fool you. The room was excellent and updated with a tile bathroom, king bed with accent lighting, and spacious with a large window. The bed was very comfortable too.

"rain but relaxing"
Far enough out of city to relax despite rain. Walked the "beach" and parks. Found a great seafood place O'Gradys down the street and it was great!

"A hidden gem just south of Galway"
At first you think you are in the "wrong neighborhood", but just up a narrow driveway is an out-of-the-past beautiful hotel. The staff were fantastic, the rooms VERY nice, and the restaurant had a great variety that was VERY enjoyable!

"Nice hotel but needs updating. Good staff. "
Very bad breakfast layout meaning I didn't have much of a breakfast on first morning due to a large party making it difficult to get near any of the food.

Was pleasantly surprised by our hotel. Great modern room, super friendly staff, comfortable bed. The hotel restaurant was a treat too - the meal we had there was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone!

Staff at this hotel are wonderful! We stayed at three hotels that are part of the larger Irish/English chains, and this was unquestionably the best. Although it is about a mile walk from the City Center, it is easy to catch a cab to and from the hotel.

"Nice hotel, short drive from city centre."
Overall was a nice experience. Plenty of room to park the rented car and welcoming staff. Facilities seemed adequate and well presented for the price we paid (which I thought was relatively cheap). Not a great deal to do in the immediate vacinity as it's nestled in a residential part of the city but it's only a short drive to the city centre.

The fiddlers and bodhran drummers flock to Galway, which counts Irish music as a major part of its heritage. There are also many sights to see in town, with a superb medieval church, the city’s original walls and landmarks dating back to the “Tribes” – the 14 merchant families who once ruled the town.
