Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant."

"Sarah was an amazing hostess and provided the best service. Nothing was too much trouble, from tea and biscuits on arrival to coffee and hot croissants overlooking the beach this morning. It was just like holidaying with a good friend who leaves you to it, but at the same time gives the best advice about the local area. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
