"Good stay at this hotel for a weekend visit to Nottingham, good reception, pleasant staff, hotel clean and everything from our room was in working order with a comfy bed. Bar and eating area good no issues. Cleaning/room staff working non stop was evident all weekend. Gym/pool used and had no issues at £5 each which seemed fair value for two nights. Big issue for me was parking, for some obscure reason weekend parking is free until 3pm on a Sunday, then its a five pound charge, this is baffling...

"It was a decent, comfortable stay. The bathroom smelled a bit funny upon my arrival though. Some improvements that could be made: It's a bit ironic that there are door hanger signs talking about skipping daily cleans to save the natural resources, but there were single-use disposable paper cups and wooden coffee stirrers in the rooms, which seems to me that it's just about the company saving their costs, and not the environment. It would be great if the cafe/restaurant menus were provided...

"Staff were wonderful, but we had an executive room that was in a poor state of repair to the point that the fire safety information had to be reattached to the door. The list of defects were really high from holes in the carpet mismatched furniture door strip on the bathroom door coming off to name only a few. If this was an executive room the mind boggles what the standard room must be like."

"For a low end option near the University of Sheffield, this is a great choice as you can walk to the student union in 10-15 mins. Parking can get challenging as the lot is small, and the street fills. Close to shops."

"It is set in beautiful grounds, part of the Nottingham University campus and we found it to be very quiet, almost serene. There is an outdoor sitting area overlooking a lake. It is slightly unusual in comparison to a regular hotel, the layout is obviously geared to meetings and conferences but not an issue. The reception area doubles up as a bar in the evening. When we arrived at our room it was beautifully clean but unfortunately smelt very highly of lillies and myself being allergic to lillies and asthmatic started wheezing and coughing. "All very good except the signage. I was nearly back on the M1 before I saw the sign hidden by bushes. there was no sign as I came off the M1 and as it was dark I had to assume it was there somewhere"

"The guy at the reception was amazing me and my friend love him he was njce to talk to and make some jokes with. The rooms were sightly cold especial that the bed by a window that isnt properly secured so you coukd feel cold wind, luckily there was warm air conditioning available. "
