Our stay was for our wedding anniversary and I am a wheelchair user. The staff were fantastic and the access for me was wonderful. The best access in any hotel,

Very friendly hosts, family room was very good and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfast was amazing and set us all up for a day at York maze. Would highly recommend and the location was quite good to. Onsite parking at the back was really good 👍

Comfortable and spotless room, good breakfast but temperature of shower difficult to regulate.

We had a 4 night stay to celebrate my birthday. What a beautiful place the Burtonstone inn is. A moden pub with 8 letting rooms. All the rooms are 1st floor with ensuite. Some have extra beds for kids to share. All are well thought out with nice modern touches. Water , tea, coffee, etc. Hair drier , tv and free wifi. Are all provided. The owners and staff are very friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. 10/15 minutes walk to city center and its many interests, sites , shops...

We have just had a great 2 night stay here. The family room was huge, very clean and comfortable (the photos dont do it justice). Breakfast was perfect and we also had evening meals each night which were big portions. We found it a very friendly environment and enjoyed relaxing in the bar and playing pool. Great base for Whitby, Flamingo Land and Filey. We would definitely return.

Quiet, comfortable little hideaway, perfect after a busy day in York.

Very comfortable stay, the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Amazing. Gorgeous property. Fantastic breakfast. Lovely hosts

Booked as a getaway to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Arrived late but the Landlady was there to greet us (having called previously to check what time we were expecting to arrive). We'd been upgraded into a large and very comfortable room, containing a super queen bed (we'd given no pre-warning of the reasons for our weekend away). We had a really pleasant stay with a good choice of offerings for breakfast, all of which were well cooked and presented.

Beautiful accommodation. Friendly staff. Great price including a wonderful breakfast.

Great location, immaculate and comfortable room, great food, friendly staff, very good parking. We'll definitely be back!

First time staying at this hotel all the staff were friendly very welcoming. The breakfast was lovely so many options spoilt for choice. Will definitely be staying again 5 stars ⭐️

I have stayed numerous times at this hotel and always enjoyed my time there, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, a good shower with a nice warm room.

We have read other reviews regarding this hotel some of them not very complimentary frankly they are obviously deranged. Our experience was excellent, the hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive especially Stuart whom served us our breakfasts for our 2 day stay We couldn't work out what any poor review was based on unless those people were extremely pretentious and thoughts they deserved better? Really friendly staff, lovely breakfast and the room was very good. Will definitely use again

Everything marvelous except parking a slight problem.
