"An ideal location to explore York. It's location is set off the inner ring road and close to the river. It is within easy walking distance of the city centre, shops and historic sites. The river is near by and would recommend taking this pleasant walk into the city."

"A beautiful top-notch property in York. Centrally located a 4 minute walk from the train station and 8/9 minute walk to York Minster and old town York. Plenty of stores and eating facilities all within walking distance. The hotel itself and attentive staff plus very spacious and well appointed rooms made our stay a real pleasure. Definitely a 5 star plus!!"

"Rooms were spacious. Comfortable beds. Showers nice size and not tiny cubicle. Some noise with doors slamming. Good selection at breakfast. Front desk staff very accommodating with respect to storing luggage."

"Fantastic stay. Breakfast is amazing and all staff were a delight. Great location. Bus directly from York Central to the hotel takes about ten minutes and even less in a taxi. Really reasonable price and comfy beds. Very clean room and ensuite. We will stay again next time in York."
