"This is our 3rd year here. Rooms are clean, amenities are stocked, employees are polite and friendly. We love hearing the trains! We always request a room to watch & hear trains day & night. "This hotel was very close to Hakata station, so if you are arriving via Shinkansen, you won't have to roll your luggage far to get to it. The entrance is located on a side street, so taxis and cars can pick you up easily. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. "

"Our stay was very nice and pleasant. The best breakfast buffet we ever experienced. There were many varieties of food to choose from. The staff, they were all courteous and polite. The room was small, but it was quiet and clean. Onsen was never crowded. We enjoyed it with perfect temperature. Highly recommend this hotel, but especially for breakfast buffet!"

"We had a pleasant stay at Plaza Hotel Premier Fukuoka. The room was the usual compact size for a Japanese hotel, but the central location was excellent — perfect for exploring the city."

"Great location - less than a minute walk from Hakata train station and metro. In a side street, so away from all the pedestrian traffic and noise. Super quiet. Room was clean and even includes a massage chair. Bathroom was large and good supply of warm water. Self-check in and out - kinda awkward not interacting with staff. Lobby has amenities to take."

"Incredibly thankful for staff allowing us to store our luggage for a few days prior to checking in! This made traveling between cities and islands way more enjoyable. We only stayed one evening at Oriental Express Fukuoka Tenjin however can say it is very convenient. Easy access to many amenities and shopping nearby, train station also within walking distance. Also enjoyed our breakfast buffet options and the welcome treat/time of happy hour in the lounge! The only feedback was the initial smell walking into the room, despite the hotel being a strict no smoking hotel. There was an odd smell but after opening window for a few hours, went away. Otherwise, excellent use of floor plan for those with lots of luggage. "
