"We booked a stay at this hotel based on reviews and photos but to be honest we did not even check in. When we arrived, we walked up the "hill" to the entrance and there was literally no sign of life. Doors and windows were shut - we did not see any people or hear noises. We did not even see a store of any kind. My apologies to the host, but when we arrived, we saw a sign "be back soon" and we decided this was not the place for us to stay. "We stayed at Casa Mancia for one night, while walking on the Via Di Francisco. It's a nice hotel, beds were comfortable, it was clean, bathroom was nice. We had a simple, but tasty (nice cakes) breakfast in price. I'd say it's a nice place to stay especially if you've got a car. For us - it was a bit far from the city centre (over 20 mins by foot), but still we were happy with our stay in all regards."

"This was an excellent place to stay during our tour through Umbria. Located perfectly just outside the walls of Bevagna old town. The gardens surrounding the residence are beautifully kept, with green lawns and a sparkling clean pool which was great after an afternoon of exploring.
