"Very helpful staff and a fabulous room."

"The place has friendly staff and good food. It's starting to look tired now though, carpets are worn and the rooms are dated. Good value though for the price"

"Room was pet friendly, staff were great, decor in room a bit tired but not enough to putting us off staying again, Bathroom door could fit better. Food was very good."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders."

"Excellent stay overnight before early Gatwick flight. Very quiet and peaceful. Very safe as solo traveller. No staff on property overnight but emergency contact number made available. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely large room, well decorated and comfortable . Staff pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking."
