"We were very happy and enjoyed our stay, we were made to feel very comfortable by the professional and friendly staff. Our rooms were spotless and so was all of the hotel. The food was excellent quality and very tasty. I'd definitely recommend The West Cliff."

"Great hotel, super friendly staff, lovely swimming pool. Awesome breakfast served by fantastic waitresses who were lovely. Good sized room and excellent shower, floor a little creaky and bed slightly hard but to be expected in a property of this age. No evening meals unfortunately but plenty of local food options nearby. A little bit of noise in the morning from the coaches running their engines first thing, not excessive. Overall very happy with our stay at Laguna, nice old fashioned style hotel with plenty of character and good value "

"Was pleasant. Whilst by a busyish road, restaurant and bar at rear overlooking river with wildlife which was pleasant. Restaurant had a brief but competent menu, with several vegetarian/ vegan options. Very friendly staff. Room was small in terms of floorspace but otherwise perfectly comfortable with bath and good sized bed. Cooked buffet breakfast. Felt modern overall. Would be happy to stay again "
