Lovely hotel. We stayed in a room in the building next to the hotel. Had a lovely evening meal one night. Nice breakfast but the only niggle was that they did run out of a couple of items ar our last breakfast

This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was comfortable and clean, the parking was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty they went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The on-site restaurant was lovely, the food was excellent. Location was ideal, near to all the attractions. We found the local pub next door’s very friendly.

Room was bigger than normal, clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was OK.

Good place

Had a very large room - king bed and sofa, chairs, plenty of drawer space and a nice bathroom. Good variety of drinks available in the room. Food was very good, all home cooked. Replacement of toiletries was a slight problem but new staff were employed in this area during our stay and everything was fine after that. The proprietors we very welcoming and kind, nothing too much trouble, as were the evening restaurant staff. Very good experience.

Nice location, dog-friendly hotel, great cafe with delicious breakfast and brunch menu. Walking distance to the beach.

First morning at breakfast it was a little disappointing, we went down at 9am and the buffet was basically gone! We went down earlier the next couple of days and it was so much better. Room was perfect, and the area was great.

Cosy set up , and reasonably priced , Parking was nearby . Would definitely stay again .

What a great place to stay - a real home from home. Excellent hosts - Paul and Chantelle could not have made us feel more welcome. Very clean, good breakfast, great location, parking - everything we needed and more.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. We had a sea-view room and it was simply amazing. The bathroom in a family room (which is pretty big) is super tiny. The bathroom is more like a "port-a-potty" size, that you see on airplanes or trains, to be honest. But I can understand that construction of a large bathroom is not feasible in that castle. We stayed in the game room as a family of two adults and two children. Great location. Walking distance to the town and loads of beaches. Cindy is such a friendly, warm, kind lovely lady! And Ashley was just as friendly. The room was tidy and clean, there were shower gel/shampoos/towels and tea/coffee and snacks there on arrival. My daughters loved the pool table in the room and we had fun. We had breakfast two mornings and the food was lovely. Lots to choose from and was cooked beautifully....

This was just the best experience. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, the views amazing, and the greatest chef in Aaron Janes. I had the best nights of my life in an incredibly comfortable bed and a superb room. Can't wait to go back there! A huge thank you to Alan and all his staff for making my stay so very special.
