"I really enjoyed our stay, super friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and really nice rooms. The food and service in the restaurant was good with enough choice and flexibility for kids. The hotel was clean and well taken care of but a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms since I found some hairs in the shower and in one of the beds. Still, great place to stay and if I ever come back to the area I will definitely stay here again."

"What a lovely little Rotterdam secret! This hotel is run by the third generation of family, and they pay attention…. to you. Hospitable and warm, it is clean quiet and centrally located in walking distance to everything! The smell of fresh baked croissants in the morning and their lovely breakfast are the way each day starts in this pleasant hotel. Excellent value!"

"They were happy to give us ice for our water at the bar. Breakfast was very good and well worth the price. The only thing I can say that is a little negative is that I don't understand why Europe hotels do not have washcloths. I use a washcloth everyday of my life except in Europe where you can't get one in a hotel for some strange reason."

"Had a great stay here! We had booked the family room and were put in a huge courtyard room with 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom and double sink. Perfect for travelling with a family of 4. We used Delft as our base to explore the Netherlands and loved it. 10 minutes walk to the train station and the town is really pretty with lots of choice for restaurants and shopping."

"Except for the wait ( I was there by 10 am), it was excellent. Cheerfulness of staff was excellent— and when I had a TV problem, it was corrected asap. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Room was very quiet."

"The place is near the tram. The room is huge and there’s kitchen with microwave and water boiler and even a coffee maker. Will stay again next time in different cities. We tried the one in Amsterdam too and it was equally great! "

"Location was near perfect. Our large deluxe room overlooking the canal was a big plus. The train station and the old town were real close. Parking was a walk away and an occasional loud drunk across the canal isn’t the hotel’s fault."

"The property's proximity to Efteling is great! Perfect to spend a day at the park then unwind at the hotel's various lounges and restaurants with excellent staff! It's easy to get to and from Hotel de Kroon and the GuestHouse hotel. Overall we had a great stay!"

"Older building. Clean and comfortable. No food service except breakfast. Staff very helpful and attentive. No elevator for those needing assist. Parking in rear of building is reserved for hotel and private residents. Super market approximately one city block away. Nearest restaurant/pub is Merz approximately 20 minutes walk away from hotel. Hotel is on a narrow, busy street but there is a bus lane in front for quick check in if you’re driving. Displayed photo of front of building very...

"Staff very friendly, great location to the main railway station, bed comfy, shower very good. Unique hotel inside. Room is basic, no television or kettle etc. Marks/damage on the walls of the room. It was ideal for me and I would stay in this hotel again as I was only using it as a base to sleep, but if you want a bit more luxury/home comforts this isnt the hotel for you. "

"Strong sewer smell in the bathroom the entire time, also met with a bug traveling across the bathroom floor. Toilet paper is rough. Desk surface, info brochure and window sill had dark crumbs, either cookie crumbs or dead ants, couldn’t tell for sure. Restaurant ran out of pork schnitzel, so they offered chicken instead (not on the menu), which I appreciated, but then they poured BBQ sauce all over it without asking (the pork schnitzel would have been either with pepper or mushroom sauce)....
