"My mother and I stayed here the night before starting a cruise which left from Tilbury. We ate a tasty dinner at the hotel bar and a great breakfast the next morning. The hotel arranged for a taxi to take us to the boat which was great! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and had all the necessities. We would stay here again if we take another cruise leaving from Tilbury."

"Room 231 needs modernising room smelt of smoke. And toilet had a drain smell. Towels have a greasy smell as if washed with kitchen items. "

"A very good business hotel. Comfortable bed, usual basic facilities in the room. WiFi worked ok. Restaurant was ok, limited menu but food was ok, very good service. Big car park directly outside and reasonably priced. Just what you need for a few nights working away from home"

"Noise from within the hotel during the night. Thin walls? When the fire alarm sounded in the night, guests gathered at the front of the hotel. It was quite some time before any staff appeared to offer guidance and explanations. The 'Deluxe Queen Room' on arrival was nothing like the picture when booked. The lack of a shower was strange: the bath mixer taps were extremely temperamental."

"Pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was for how cheap it was! Will definitely stay again when in the area!"

"We were somehow allocated a disabled persons room. On leaving my partner queried the allocation at reception and was told I picked that room. I checked my booking I did not. Although comfortable , the disabled facilities were not exactly usable for us, and there was evidence of water pooling / leakage damage inside and outside of the wet room ( mould growing). We had breakfast which was ample and pleasant. We did arrive back after 2am from a night out and had to ring security to let us in. "
