"We had a great stay. We checked in on wed night and had to walk through some really loud music (a bit concerned at this point) but our room was pleasantly sound proofed from the noise. "We had a twin room, which was on the top floor. Although the bathroom was private, it was small and across the landing, which was a tad inconvenient in the middle of the night. The bedroom was noisy and very light, even with the curtains closed. We expected to hear noise from the pub underneath. However there was a lot of noise from the street below. The windows are single glazed and would definitely benefit from having secondary glazing"

"Spent one night at the Mount Inn with my dog. Space is very dog friendly, comfortable and clean. There were a few parking spaces around the back, very useful. Breakfast was lush. I also ate in the pub downstairs for dinner and got some great walking tips from other people."

"Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit."
