"Nice clean spacious room but the window in my room needs replacing as it was draughty and aloud in noise from outside, perhaps a few mushrooms would not go amiss with the breakfast apart from those minor qualms I would not hesitate to stay again."

"Easy to find. Parking free and close to the hotel. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room was more of a suite than a room! Bed very comfortable so a really good place to stay. We were not bothered by poor reception for TV but this could be a concern for others. We enjoyed walking round the town and the inhouse meal rounded off our stay very nicely."

Joanne, the hostess, was phenomenal: warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless and relaxing. Each evening, I took walks through the surrounding area, which was tranquil and scenic—a perfect way to disconnect and recharge. The neighbours, Mr. Darcy and Jimmy, were an unexpected delight and added so much charm to the stay. Their friendly presence made the experience feel even more special. This place is a true gem, whether you’re visiting for work, rest, or a bit of both. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat and will definitely be returning.
