"Our Dog was welcomed. Very friendly and approachable staff, our room was as expected clean and exactly what we required as being disabled, on the ground floor and a walk in shower. We had no problems getting there, and being there, staff were excellent and attentive, Especially Gavin GM. Dale HM, and Pete the Executive Chef. Other staff were friendly and helpful too. We had a great stay."

"My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "

"This is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to stay. On arrival I could see that the building exterior was very tired. The decking was past its best and the key box was broken and the smell was dreadful as I opened the door. Tried to keep an open mind went to open windows but the bathroom and one bedroom didn’t open at all. It all needed a good clean so put the immerser on and waited, I am still waiting. The accommodation is good - although some more attention to detail eg the condition and quantity of cutlery (fine if you are a group of 2 but bring friends in or have more in your party then there is a problem) There was only 1 tall class which we shared. A second oven proof/microwave dish would be useful too. Nevertheless we had a good stay."
