Superb location - just opposite rail station (trains to Nice and most other Riviera towns run frequently; a few direct trains from Paris), and 5 mins walk from sea; couple more to most of the cheapest eateries (near Vieux Port) Bistrot/bar with good value Plat du Jour (E14) almost next door Clean and wholesome Bathroom fully functional, including - amazingly - plug in sink! Breakfast just E8 : plenty of coffee and fresh baguette (sadly no fresh fruit) in SUPERB roof top covered conservatory...

We had a lovely 2-night stay here in this character property conveniently tucked away from a main road. We had a comfortable triple room and what we really liked about the set-up was there was a small wall divider, so compartmentalising the room in some way; it was also useful to have a small fridge and the a/c was very welcome too. Fantastic place, authentic, excellent hosts, great food- just perfect.

Fantastic little find, out in the middle of nowhere, high in the hills above the lake. The most spectacular views from the balcony where we just sat in the peace and quiet. Our host was fabulous, who couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast was local pastrys, the sugar bread was to die for. Beautifully restored, very authentic.

Lovely staff! Great location! Clean room!

Very welcoming and comfortable. Owners go above and beyond to make stay very comfortable and were super helpful with local advice.

Pleasant and burden-free stay at City Sophia. The residence is quiet, clean and well-equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful, including before the arrival. No issues during the stay and quick departure process. A very good choice for students/researchers given the great rate offered at this time of the year and the numerous schools/labs nearby.

This hotel is perfect location great Parking clean beautiful rooms friendly staff

This is a lovely little hotel with comfortable rooms, providing easy access into Cannes (15 mins drive in traffic). Would book here again when I return.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful Village. Hotel is spacious and the room had a great view. Nice breakfast and very good service. Would be very happy to go back

The owners (Vittorio and Raphaella) were perfect and couldn't do enough for us during our stay - which we had to extend by 3 days due to the strikes. Great choices for the buffet breakfast taken in the sun in their beautiful garden. The air conditioned bedroom was large enough, with a comfy double bed, widescreen TV and a separate bathroom. The hotel is outside the centre of Nice...
