Stayed for just one night but really liked this property even though it was maybe a little expensive for just a 'room only' stay. Beautiful location in the private grounds of an old rectory surrounded by well kept gardens. Parking was in the grounds nearby and felt very secure. The check-in and arrival instructions were excellent, wi-fi connection was good and the room was clean with complimentary toiletries and coffee/tea. Our room was in the lodge building and was classed as small and cozy...

Lovely accomodation. Really quiet, easy to find and park and clear check instructions given the day before. The garden was well maintained - we had a lovely room opening out onto the back. There's a couple of pubs, shops and an Indian restaurant all within walking distance and it's 5 mins up the road from the Park and Ride into Cambridge. Fully recommend a stay here! Lovely location with a pub servicing good pub for a few minutes walk away. Off road parking was more than sufficent and on arrival, Claire made us feel very welcome. We had the Castle Room which was very spacious and clean with everything we needed. The ambience of the property was that of a period, rustic farmhouse, beautifully decorated with many lovely flower arrangements.

Superb, a real gem of a place, excellent value

Excellent value. Ask for room away from main road if sensitive to traffic noise. Unbeatable value for the price.

The guests were great as they are long term contractors, the hotel was good

Great little find. Modern and clean rooms and great food options available

Lovely hotel, I regularly stay here with work. The food in the restaurant is amazing and really reasonable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, a good selection of continental breakfast as well.

Tidy clean rooms, well maintained and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to stay.

Lovely place to stay

Easy walk from the station and close to first Cambridge College we were visiting. Very easy to find. Very smooth check-in/check-out. Very clean. Close to Zizzi/Pizza Express/Starbucks. Queen bed was a tad small for two adults, but all exactly as advertised and expected and perfect for one night for two people (ensuite room).

Clean and functional. Perfect for an affordable short stay in town. Walking distance from the train station. Start very helpful

Great views and great restaurant, lots of parking and scenic river views from room and restaurant

Clean, peaceful location, great hottub
