"Really lovey place to stay if you just want peace and quiet, very basic and very romantic and secluded. Just hear in mind your only cooking appliances are a cooking hob. So any meals you plan on cooking must be cookable in a saucepan or frying pan. That being said the rose and crown in Michaelchurch."

The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom. We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

The house is fantastic, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious, with everything we could possibly need. "Loved the hot tub amazing views out into the valley. Very quiet its on a hill so quite a walk back up hill from the town (so probably best to go equipped with the things you might need). Loved cycling elan valley which is near by."
