"Nice stay for a one night stay! Close to shops and had everything it needed"

"Good sized room, nice quiet area but good location to visit a few of the other nice towns and villages"

"OK hotel to stay"

"The staff were very friendly, and made us feel at home! The room was cozy and the view was beautiful, though the road outside was rather noisy, but it dies down after dark. I was hooked on the Cotswold Stout while we were there, and the town absolutely won our hearts! Highly recommended The Bear if you're around Marlborough!"

"Lovely looking building, conveniently located, helpful staff, good kitchen/communal facilities, clean room, excellent wifi connection."

"Charming historic inn. Dining was excellent and pub is cozy."

"The bed was ok, it was a single, lots of storage, kettle with tea bags, tv and a safe. Bathroom light was automatic so goes off if you're in the shower, where there was no shower gel or soap. The internal stairs are fine but getting out the fire escape for out of hours access is where it's tricky. There's a balcony out there with seating. Fine for short stays and there's a bus stop outside for when it runs."

"Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Nicely decorated. Great location. Easy to access with codes provided. Water pressure quite low in the shower (on first floor)."

"Rooms were clean n bed was comfortable. They cater to us hikers."

"Great location "

"Clean functional, good value. Would stay again"

"I liked everything, from the delicious breakfasts, to the quaintness and lovely private patio in the back. It is right in the middle of everything going on in Stow; yet you can have a relaxed glass of wine in the back and get away from it all. And the staff are friendly and genuinely interested in you enjoying your stay!"

"Beautiful location, lovely rooms, food & staff. Will definitely be back 🙂"

"It was a really nice setting (it would have been great if it had been warm and sunny, sat out in the courtyard). The room we stayed in was very small, but clean and functional for a one or two night stay. We would definitely recommend it and will stay here again."

"Really friendly and helpful manager, made for a really pleasant stay. "

"Great place to stay! Location fantastic!"

"Very clean and tidy, plenty of space and great location."
