Property was nicely decorated and, whilst there is no reception, the instructions to gain access were easy and worked well. The continental breakfast in the room was lovely and well thought through although there was a lack of English Breakfast tea bags which I assume was just because they hadn’t been topped up. Overnight stay on our way back from Cornwall. Nice old pub, much bigger than expected. Popular with locals and bikers. Large outdoor seating area. Very friendly welcome and quick check in. Our room was on the busy road side but excellent soundproofing windows. No problems at all with the twin en-suite. Good choice of food in the restaurant at reasonable prices. Staff very attentive but not too intrusive. The full English breakfast was superb! I would definitely recommend this venue.
