"Staying on the houseboat was certainly the unique experience that we'd hoped it to be. We arrived later than planned but a quick call to the host helped us navigate to the parking area and gave us directions to meet him at the boat. The boat itself was freshly made up for our group, it was toasty warm with central heating and a log burner. 2 single sofa beds in the lounge were a great solution. "This is my second time staying at Bath YMCA, the first time having a room to myself with an en suite bathroom. I like how the location is so convenient to everything in central Bath. The accommodations are comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it for the budget traveler, especially for long term stays. I was there for 12 days."
