"If you like rock hard beds, spiders everywhere and the smell of funk this place is for you."

"Everything was as expected. Comfortable bed, good overnight location. Added bonus was the soundproofing. A very quiet night given the location."

"Cosy room, nice clean bathroom"

"Lovely setting, vegetarian breakfast was very good, comfortable stay, nice walk across Harnham Water Meadows to Salisbury."

"Cozy place to stay, it is near a road but it didn’t bother me. It is as advertised"

"The staff were very friendly, and made us feel at home! The room was cozy and the view was beautiful, though the road outside was rather noisy, but it dies down after dark. I was hooked on the Cotswold Stout while we were there, and the town absolutely won our hearts! Highly recommended The Bear if you're around Marlborough!"

"Great stay!!"

"Big bed and big bathroom; nice welcome bags served as continental breakfast with fresh fruit and granola."

"Perfect spot for me in Winchester"

"This property was no longer a guest house i had to find alternative accommodation which was difficult due to the season"

"Great location , 10 min walk into Salisbury , on site parking everything you need for a comfortable stay , washing machine was a bonus"

"The staff were great and friendly, food was really good, especially the breakfast. The bedroom was really comfortable and the bed, pillows etc excellent. Stair carpets are tired and stained which gives a negative impression, could be rectified at not too much cost. Loved the atmosphere, would stay again"

"Claire is so so lovely & welcoming & friendly being on my own with my children she instantly made me feel at ease ☺️ We absolutely loved everything about it stay & would highly recommended it 👌 Such a beautiful setting & so tranquil. The only down side was having to leave ☺️ We will definitely be returning Claire, can’t wait to see you & the gorgeous Tony again 🙏"
