Very Disappointing
I found the bed linen grubby and marked and deposits left in the ensuite, indicated it had not been cleaned properly from the previous guests. I would not recommend this guest house.

Very disappointed!
Considering the fact that Cambridge is a beautiful city my girlfriend and I were extremely dissapointed with the standard of this guest house that we stayed at recently. The room was tiny, basic and of a poor standard, notably the quality of furnishings including un-ironed bed linen, one bath towel per person and bath mats which had seen better days! There was a lack of tea making facilities in the room which we discovered was due to vandalism in the past from previous guests. On a more positive note we found the owner to be friendly and helpful, though his appearance was somewhat untidy! Also, the standard of the continental breakfast was acceptable and the dining area was clean compared to the dust and cobwebs present in the bedroom and bathroom. I feel this guest house has missed an ideal opportunity considering the location to provide a much higher standard expected in the UK, particularly for my girlfriend travelling from Italy who was very upset & disappointed with the accomodation.
