"We stayed here last April (2023) and it was fine but the back garden was a disappointment and we andvised them of this issue. Unfortunately, even though the drain has been sorted the garden has gotten much worse and needs attention for little cost. Also the neighbours hang their washing over the fence which isn’t a very nice sight to see in a morning. The house itself is fine with everything you need. A long mirror somewhere downstairs would be helpful and a mirror in the first floor bathroom...

"Beautiful cottage which has been tastefully restored and is spotless. It is right beside the footpaths into the Chatsworth Estate so there are beautiful walks from the doorstep. Baslow is a thriving village with plenty of places to eat. There is a lovely outdoor space but because of the layout of the other cottages it is very overlooked. Worth knowing but still a 5 star cottage."

"The little house is beautifully decorated and clean, with comfy beds, good quality tasteful furnishings, nice modern kitchen with everything you need. The only downside for us was the road alongside the property garden - a lovely courtyard, secure for the dogs but quite a lot of noise from passing idiots driving too fast or on awful noisy motorbikes. Didn’t spoil our stay but it is a shame, as the house is well located for fabulous walks and sightseeing but the road is a drawback. Otherwise...

"Amazing property that is kept upto a great standard and a good short walk to the centre of sheffield. Very easy to check in. The whole house is very clean and well looked after with the beds being really comfy. Would definitely recommended to anyone who wants to stay in Sheffield for however long."

"The property was set in beautiful grounds just off Penistone Road. It was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that we needed and Annie was a very welcoming annd helpful host. Just across the road was Greno Wood which had many woodland walks, or runs, on our doorstep. Also close by is Chapeltown with restaurants and shops. Also there is a swimming pool nearby. Would definitely recommend."

Everything is ideal for people to spend time together, from the well equipped lounge to the ample dining room, really well provisioned kitchen and then (of course) the hot tub, pool and saunas. "I booked for 7 people to stay at property. The property looked lovely. There were 5 beds. The sofa bed which we intended to use had no bedding. Eventually I got a call back, and the person argued that everything was set and ready, and should be there. I was eventually told that bedding would be delivered to us the next day first thing in the morning . I was disappointed as I could not reach anyone after calling the customer services number which I was told was a 24hr phone line. The next day at...

"This is a very spacious, comfy property in a great location for exploring the area. It was a short drive to Outwood station and from there a 10 minute train ride into Leeds. We also visited the National Mining Museum near to Wakefield which was very educational. We would recommend this house for anyone looking for a short break in this area."

"Overall a lovely house with great access to town and the peaks. I would stay again. However, please note there are strict rules on noise after 9pm and we were shocked to realise they had a noise detector somewhere in the house."
