"Booked as attending a wedding nearby that began at 11am and went until late at night. Staff were so accommodating; I was able to check in early which was really helpful. "The most amazing man who couldn’t do enough for you, the ladies were fab as well, fab time had by all , breakfast very good, room a tad small but very clean, excellent position, legends Sunday lunch and show was fantastic, ( need to book) highly recommend no faults with anything other than the weather, which nobody can control that, we arrived early at the hotel and they were very happy to look after our bags until check in time, thank you so much to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so...

"Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again."

"The check-in was super uncomplicated and Maria provided a very thorough explanation of the property. She was contactable by phone at all times. The location of the property is great, the property itself is a great old house with plenty of space and some nice extras (i.e. Tennis court and Hot Tub, both in good condition). Cleanliness, however, was disappointing at best. Fridge, kitchen drawers, oven etc had obviously not been cleaned for a while. All sinks and bathrooms were quite grim, bed sheets same. There was a lot of clutter in some areas like the conservatory with the seating area squished next to the clutter. The house itself is such a great location that it was quite disappointing to find it in such a state, especially considering how much money was charged for the stay. We spent a few hours cleaning first before we could really enjoy the stay. We did definitely not expect this when booking the stay. If general cleanliness and tidiness was addressed, however, it would be a great place to stay and spend a few relaxed days."
