We found the location of the Shore View Hotel, great, being right on the seafront. The staff were welcoming, and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities, couldn't fault it at all.
The only thing was, we thought the prices for breakfast were a bit steep, and found it cheaper to eat out, but neither my husband or myself are big on breakfast anyway, so it would have been money wasted for us.
Parking can be a little restrictive, but for a pound a day, the hotel gave us a scratch card to put in the car, showing where we were staying, but this was only valid in zone H.
Overall, a pleasant stay, and would recommend this hotel

Seafront hotel with great charm and atmosphere. Staff are helpful and obliging which made the experience for us. A little quiet for this time of year but that's a seasonal town I guess. Will be returning later this year.
Excellent B and B right in the heart of Eastbourne, only 2 minute walk to the beach. The hotel looks like it has been recently refurbished, the room we had on the 2nd floor was bright and airy, with an incredibly comfy bed. Breakfast was quick and very tasty, cooked to our order. Obviously a bar would have been the icing on the cake, but this is 'just' a B&B, so if this is what you require it ticks all the boxes. Will return on my next visit to Eastbourne.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The greatest asset of the hotel is its staff who were, without exception, cheerful, welcoming and helpful. The public rooms are magnificent, yet comfortable, the restaurant is certainly recommended, but there is also a bar with bar food available and a sea view while you eat.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Modern rooms and nice facilities. The family room is nice as there are 2 seperate rooms, warm and comfortable. Very good location, as your away from the busy end but not too far that you can't walk or go in the other direction to the adventure parks etc.,

My husband and I stayed in the da Vinci hotel for 3 nights in February 2014 in the Superior Double Bedroom with breakfast. We enjoyed the room a lot - v. comfy bed, nice bathroom and just a minute from the seaside.
