"Perfect place for me to work. Lots of space for one person (or 2). Cozy Aga. Atmospheric large gardens. Excellent and delightful on site manager. This is old fashioned and hasn’t been decorated for a while. But a well equipped kitchen set up. Excellent large kitchen table and endless possibilities to cook on the Aga. Note a modern oven, hob and microwave were there too. Friendly village. Two pubs. Long deepest Devon walks. Quite a way on little roads to get anywhere. I was there five weeks and...

"This place is clean and modern. Host is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Lots of places to go and visit from this property. Host leaves lots of info of places to visit and eat. Loads of places to visit via walking or by car. If you are a member of the national trust this is the place to stay. Pub is round the corner. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend."

"Nice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall. It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect. "

"The property is cute and very well located to visit Tintagel and Port Isaac. It was immaculately clean and the bathroom had been recently updated. The location is also very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was that the house is (obviously) very old and it was quite damp inside. It was misty rain for the couple of days we stayed so I am sure that contributed to the dampness."

Andy and Caroline were excellent hosts - we were very grateful for the use of the 4 wheel drive to get us down the track and it was interesting to hear the story of the treehouse. "The accommodation was great, clean, spacious and well equipped. The host was excellent at communicating with me and the location was ideal for visiting Bude. I took my dog and the outside area whilst not on the same level as the accommodation - could have done with a spruce up - was handy. No complaints though sprucing up the exterior would only just make it extra perfect."

"Myself and my 2 children (10 &14) had a lovely stay at Rosie's cottage. The cottage was clean, beds were comfy, everything you need in the kitchen. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature and could be used whenever we wanted. The peacocks in the garden kept my youngest occupied along with the trampoline.
