With stunning sea views towards Rocky Valley and Bossiney Cove, this self contained ground floor accommodation set mid way along the coast road between Boscastle and Tintagel, with access to the Coast Path and the beautiful St. Nectans Glen close by, has much to offer. It is bright and spacious and with those breath-taking sea views from this elevated position, Little Quoit is an ideal base for exploring the North Coast. Spectacular cliff top walks, picturesque harbours and villages, Bodmin Moor and beautiful sandy beaches all nearby. Approached by a short lane, there is off road parking and a pathway leading to the rear door to the property, which opens into the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you would wish for. Plenty of cupboard space, a large fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electric oven & hob, dishwasher, we have tried to think of everything, so you will lack for nothing. From the kitchen window you look out onto a particularly attractive feature heather garden. From the kitchen you then enter an inner hall way which takes you to the rest of the very spacious rooms. The Lounge/Dining room is bright and sunny and has a very attractive and comfortable lounge suite , dining table and chairs, a cabinet with books, DVD's and games, TV and DVD player. The views from this room are wonderful, because you not only have the sea view to the distant horizon but can look down towards the beautiful Rocky Valley and Lye Beach and watch the waves crashing on the rocks. Patio doors from this room take you into a delightful double glazed conservatory with more comfortable seating and those same fabulous views. A door from the conservatory takes you out to the patio & garden where there is more seating, giving the opportunity of al-fresco dining if required. The Bedroom is also a good size and features a beautifully carved oak Four Poster bed, the same fabulous views of sea and cliffs and plenty of wardrobe and storage space. We have also provided another TV. for those that like to watch telly in bed The shower room is also very spacious, but no bath, just a shower, toilet and wash basin with bathroom cabinet over. There is an airing cupboard there with plenty of towels. Outside there is a large garden, mainly lawns with flower borders and a rustic table and benches for your use. We are told by our visitors, that Little Quoit does not live up to it's name, because it is very spacious and we are also often told it is one of the best equipped and, more important is very homely. That is because we have not just furnished it with the bare essentials of a rental property. We have provided much more, because we want you to love it and to want to return. Amazing place to stay, it was spotless, the view was amazing. The position of the cottage was just right for walking and exploring, and not far from anywhere to drive to. The hosts Nick and Liz are lovely friendly and very welcoming. When we arrived there was a lovely cream tea waiting for us plus, a pint of milk so we could make ourselves a cup of tea. There was also a lovely bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit, we couldn’t have asked for more from them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend it to anybody looking for a nice peaceful getaway with views you could die for. ##### Wendy B. There were so many unexpected extras that I really appreciated - the bottle of wine, freshly made scones with clotted cream and jam, and even a bowl of fresh fruit. Nick and Liz were very welcoming and ensured that the apartment was warm when I arrived. Wonderful walks along the coastal path which is only across a couple of fields, and I also enjoyed the walk to the nearby woodland glen and waterfall. I will definitely be back! ##### Sarah K. Cream tea and a bottle of wine both very welcome after a long drive. The facilities are excellent and beautifully presented. Fully equipped kitchen, shower room, a 4 poster bedroom with sea view, large lounge, also with sea view, and sun room, all self contained with ample parking and easy access. The view of the coastline is just great. I could sit and watch the waves and listen to the distant surf for ages. Venturing out was amazing, with cliff walks to Tintagel and Boscastle a great day out, and a walk up St Nectan’s Glen a lovely gentle experience. Rocky Valley itself is charming and isolated with some amazing views from the mouth of the cove. I didn’t feel the need to get the car out all week, especially as the coastal bus stops right at the gate. Much has changed (mostly me!) in the 40 years since my last visit to Rocky Valley, but the essential charm of the coast, nature and hills is still beautiful, remote, but accessible. It is very well presented with a hotel feel to it. Nick & Liz are both very welcoming. I particularly enjoyed, the complimentary cream tea waiting for me when I arrived along with a bottle of wine. The views are far reaching and uninterrupted across to the coast. The listing is spot on, the rooms are alot bigger than the photos show. View is wonderful. Hosts were very welcoming. Extra touches with wine, cream tea and fruit was a lovely unexpected extra. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had a fabulous time out and about either walking the coast path or visiting local places. The only thing I would have liked, but this isnt a grumble, is a sun lounger to have enjoyed the sun. However the outdoor chairs provided are definitely great to have. ##### Anne W.
