Very quiet hotel in the heart of Venice.

Posted 14-Jul-2015
Pros: A very nice breakfast buffet.
Cons: Wifi reception being extended to the rooms.
In a city where finding your hotel is quite an achievement for many, the Domina Home Ca Zusto was incredibly easy to locate.

no character

Posted 06-Jul-2015
Pros: outside, the building looked beautiful
Cons: interior decor aircon in my room orange juice
Location: fantastic. central, plenty of restaurants nearby
I thought it was a shame that the character had been completely removed from the interior of this historic building. The hotel is comfortable but plain. the aircon in my room did not work very well - poor orange juice was not fresh at breakfast

Pros: Everything. Very enjoyable stay. Easy access to the railway station for travellers with lots of luggage etc
Cons: Hard to think of anything.
Location: See above. Short walk to all of the tourist attractions.
The hotel was easy to find from the instructions sent to us prior to arrival. The reception staff were most helpful and courteous.

Pros: clean and breakfast and new
Cons: wi fi in rooms not available only on 1st floor designated area
Location: everything close but sooooo quiet!
Most posh stay of 4 city tour- 200 years old on outside and so new and clean on inside. Nicola was amazing! walked us to our first dinner at 11pm! and he was off from his shift- breakfast awesome- fresh and so many choices. Free wifi and cappacinos- just great!

e cel lent hotel away from crowds!

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Pros: The friendly staff & the cleanliness & comfort of the room.
Cons: Tea/coffe making facilities in rooms.
Location: Just far enough away from main tourist areas to be quiet, but only 2 minute walk to restaurants/ bars & vaporetto stop down Grand Canal.
I stayed here with my daughter for 4 nights & was very pleased with the hotel & its location. It was a little tricky to find at 1st, but once we'd got our bearings it was fine. Spotlessly clean hotel & room, with nice breakfast, but no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.. Good breakfast with nice selection of food. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful & went out of their way to give advice or information to enable us to get the most from our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent

This hotel is ideally located a short walk from Piazalle Roma which is where the bus from the airport drops you off. There is a vaporetto stop a very short walk away connecting you to the whole of Venice through 4 different routes. There is also a really nice little square not far from the hotel. It is very secluded with nice bars and restaurants and a coop for supplies! The hotel is really nicely decorated in Venetian theme. The rooms are very clean and nicely laid out. Breakfast is fine, croissants, bread and jam etc. excellent service very friendly. I would stay here again for sure.

Delightful Hotel in a Dream City!

Posted 23-Jun-2015
Pros: Quiet room! Classy comfort in a slightly off-the-beaten-track area of Venice - nice to feel welcome among "locals"
Cons: Tea-making facilities in our room. Although the hairdryer and the fan in the bathroom were not working it did not worry us unduly
Location: Handy for vaporetto to the airport and all tourist attractions; handy for railway station, Rialto and numerous cafes, restaurants and bars
Gorgeous building; innovatively decorated rooms; attentive but unobtrusive staff
