The extras in the rooms, the freshly cooked breakfast, with everything you can eat and more, high quality bed linen and toiletries. "The room was fine and we were impressed that we got service on day two without requesting it. We were not really prepared to have no staff on site. It would have been good to be able to leave bags on the last day as our train to Gatwick was late in the day."

"I’ve never stayed in a hotel like this before and I loved how personalized and convenient it was! The host was very lovely and made sure I had everything I needed. Quick walking distance to the towns center and places to eat. With shuttle and breakfast service. The Lawn Guest House had everything I needed for my one night stay and I felt so welcome and comfortable here!"

"The television didn’t work. There was a broken lamp hidden behind a chair. There was too much furniture and artwork in the room. I was worried about the amount of cabling and extension leads used in the room. There was a pile of random chargers, cleaning products and items on a shelf outside the room. "

"Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again."

"This venue had a nice new tarmac drive and parking spaces. The interior however was a little dated. I was in room 4 on 2nd floor (no lift), and the noise coming from the other rooms and corridor was noticable. Ensuite was small, bed was okay, wifi was okay. There were a few places in the town centre to eat (evening meal) and a couple of cafes for breakfast. This was no more than a 10 minute walk. Had to pay £10 to park vehicle at venue."

"Great place in an excellent location. Modern and clean with very friendly staff. Shame about the road works with their early morning starts and the 6.30 Sunday morning bin lorry - not the hotels fault. "
