"Perfect mix of peace, cleanliness, amenities and local information! Terrific stay with EVERYTHING you need including a washer and heated airer to dry your clothes. Storage heaters worked great and the wood stove was cozy and worked great. The shower had good pressure for an on-demand system and there's LOTS of storage for your stuff. Only down side was how hard all the beds were - my husband was like Goldilocks searching for the best bed on the first night! But this was not a hindrance to our wonderful stay! Thank you for this magical getaway!!"

"This property could be lovely. Its in a nice location and is well presented. However. You have to pay for electricity by feeding a meter. We arrived at around 6pm to an extremely cold property, no power and £2 left for us to use. We topped this up by £10. Could not get the heaters to work despite following instructions. Didnt use cooker or tv. By 4am in the morning the power was off again so our money didnt go very far. We decided to go home as it was so cold. No hot water. Worked out it would have cost us a lot to keep feeding the meter - also there would be the problem of getting enough change- no local banks. We wanted a relaxing break but ended up bitterly cold and no facilities. I would imagine most people nowadays would expect to pay and have all the utilities included. Very disappointed."

"Very convient location in the town, next to large parking lot and parking included in room fee. Rooms are above a pub that serves tasty food and extensive beverages, plus you get to listen to the bass from the pub after you go up to your room. The breakfast was exceptional, cuppacino in place of coffee. My favority breakfast after 3 week of travel in England and 10 or so different inns."

"We arrived to find that our hosts, Karen and Richard had decorated the house so tastefully for Christmas, so many thoughtful details and extras. The cottage was spotless and looked so welcoming. The village is an ideal location for Tintagel, Port Isaac and other Cornish beauty spots. Bearing in mind we cooked a full Christmas lunch, there was a complete selection of utensils, dishes, pots and pans- and a lovely log fire to complete the atmosphere. Having had many holidays in Cornwall, I would recommend this cottage for any family of 4, young or old"

"What a beautiful cottage. Late writing this review as we moved house, and area, 2 days before this holiday and was great to relax and still be able to sort out all that goes with a major house move! We have stayed in quite a few rental properties but this was by far the best. Thank you Susan, communication excellent and it is clear that you treat you holiday home with as much care and attention as you would your own. Spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishing and detail throughout, Cornish lampshades and cushions covers a lovely touch. Fast reliable internet, well used by us. Kitchen very well equipped, thank you for the bottle of wine upon arrival and selection of tea/coffee a bonus. Lovely quality bedding and towels, plenty of. View of evening of sunsets (lounge on first floor and master suit on second floor) second to none. Too many extras to list, a touch of home from home. 15 mins strolling distance to centre of Tinatagel, plenty of places to eat and highly recommend the mussels cooked in Cornish cider at Ye Olde Malthouse Inn. Catered for all diets including gluten free battered fish, fresh and delicious. Tintagel castle never fails to impress, great team who provided a wheelchair for my Mum so she could go across the new bridge. Quiet and relaxing, just what the doctor ordered.
