From the first words to the last with our hosts we were made to feel welcome and at home, you could not want for a better place to stay. The town was wonderful and all the information we needed was given to us by Bre llike the numbers of good places to eat or places to visit. W e were made to feel welcome from start to finish was a real shame we had to leave on our last day !

We arrived at Penzance Quay at 7.10 pm and drove down to The Snooty Fox Inn still during daylight, however it was getting dark and hotel was not clearly sign posted till the actual turn off from the main road. We apologised for our arrival around 8.50 pm. The lady at the bar kindly arranged for our meals. The Dining room was lovely, our fish and chips were freshly made.
However our room was on the first floor , up a spiral staircase, at the end the end of a narrow corridor. A gentleman showed me the room and gave me the keys.
Normally we are able to take the luggage to our rooms, but the spiral staircase was quite difficult, overcame this by taking only essential items and leaving rest in car. The room was strangely dusty and even bathroom floor was too dusty to walk barefoot. Provision of toiletries was more 2* Blackpool hotel!
The staff were quite clinical, ok for a business convention, but aloof for a holiday visit. Completely in contrast to the incredible hoteliers we had just stayed with in the Scilly Isles.
