Just fair.

Pros: Both firm and soft pillows are a nice touch. TV and cable box worked well with a good assortment of channels.
Cons: Tub drain, bathroom fan, less-worn towels.
Location: Just off of I-5. A number of food alternatives in close proximity. Really just a transit hotel.
How hard is it to unclog the tub drain - everyone hates standing in ankle deep water. Also, the bathroom fan was incredibly LOUD.

Nice Hotel Close to the I5

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: Good location and good value.
Cons: Eliminate the smoke smell.
Location: Close to the I5.
We had a great experience staying at this hotel on our way down to Oregon. The front desk staff were friendly, check in and out was easy, and our room was clean. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke when we first entered our room but didn't notice it much during our stay. The pool was great too! The continental breakfast was great and well stocked, and included lots of different things like waffles, bagels, toast, muffins, egg, sausage, yogurt, cereal, coffee, apple juice, orange juice, and cranberry juices.

Desperate Stay

Posted 03-Jul-2014
Pros: I liked the friendly lady when I checked out. She was kind and helpful.
Cons: The rooms need to be aired out and updated with better lighting.
Location: Tacoma mall is ten minutes away and so are a lot of chain restaurants
While on an impromptu trip to the Tacoma area my family and I found ourselves in need of a hotel at the last minute and this was the only place with room available. I now know why. Upon checking in I had to wait for someone to check me in. Apparently all three people behind the counter were urgently taking care of other things. When I finally received my room key and made it to the room I was greeted with an awful stale smell. I opened the window for fresh air but that was a waisted effort because the window opened an inch! Thankfully this hotel is near the mall and restaurants because when the men's bathroom flooded and they had to turn the water off, we had somewhere to go.

Very nice

Pros: View of East Sound, clean, friendly.
Cons: Make sure equipment works.
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were quite comfortable. The refrigerator didn't work in our first room but the second was very nice. The bay windows were a nice touch. It has an excellent view of the East Sound and a beautiful pond behind. I would recommend this for a peaceful stay on Orcas.

Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff!

I stayed two full days and nights at this hotel, the rooms were very clean, the continental breakfast had a great variety of foods, but the best part of my stay was the staff. They always would say good morning, make simple conversation and answer any question i had. They were genuinely great people, ready to help and make my stay as comfortable as possible.

The staff was fantastic.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel was a little noisy at nights due to lots of people showing up at Dennys, but rooms were clean and the front desk and cleaning associates were wonderful. Room comfort lost a few points due to no refrigerator.

Good value

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: The front desk people were very friendly and efficient, and the complimentary breakfast items were better than the usual fare one finds.
Cons: Just the outside noise that comes in- don't know if there are patrols that could help with that maybe?
The hotel is clean and the front desk people were very nice. The price was very affordable and the hotel is close to lots of stuff. The only complaint I had was the extremely loud sounds coming from outside the hotel in the middle of the night. I don't know if it is a regular occurrence or not, but there was LOTS of yelling, cars racing, and horn honking several times throughout the night and that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Again, this may not be a regular thing, but it wasn't helpful the night I stayed there.

Sleepless in Tacoma

Posted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: The breakfast was very sumptuous. I was only expecting cereals, toast and probably some fruits but they even served hot breakfast. Kudos.
Cons: I think the hotel management should report this matter to the authorities because according to the morning desk clerk, this happens every Friday night
Hotel was ok. Rate was attractive. Staff was nice. Room was comfy. Location was good. It was near a good asian buffet restaurant and shopping mall. It was not the hotel's fault but a group of jerks who have nothing better to do than show off their nice rides blasting music at 2AM on Saturday. These inconsiderate people have no respect for hotel guests. All they care about is their bloated egos.
