"The property all on ground floor which was great close to the hospital. It was local to where we were meeting relatives for a long weekend away. Very clean and well heated and wifi was ok. Only negatives were we couldnt find a toaster or a wire grill to toast in oven and after contacting host re hairdryer was told in was broken. Luckily I washed by hair the day we travelled and its just about ok 3 days later. Would have took mine if known but itinery specified one."

We were provided a generous welcome pack to help us settle in for our 12 day stay & we were shown how to use the modern amenities. A very comfortable stay."

"Lovely location roughly 20 minutes between Glasgow city center and beaches to the south west. Ducks, chickens, sheep. cattle and rabbits as neighbors! Train station 5 minutes drive away."

"Our first visit to Scotland and Troon was delightful. Our Hostess had the home sweetly decorated with fresh flowers in many of the rooms and treats of goodies and fresh fruit! Plenty of room for all (6 plus baby), walking distance to golf, the beach and the downtown. Lovely linen and comfy beds, charming sunroom with all the extras. It was evident much thought and care was spent preparing for our visit. Hope to visit again! Many thanks."

"This property is not well maintained, updated and appears very lived in. The heating wasn't working properly, the upstairs toilet ran constantly, there was one threadbare bath towel per person and many other problems. We had booked for one week and left after one night. The host was very responsive and refunded our money without any problems. We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the world, but this was our first bad experience."

"There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age."

"Clean and comfortable. Good shower and comfortable bed. Quiet despite at a shopping area and next to a bar. The surrounding area not so nice but that is generally true for Glasgow, a typical inner city. We booked it for ease of transport as it is right next to St Enoch subway station. Has coin operated self service laundry. "
