"At the last minute (day before) my accommodation was cancelled & I was given 2 alternative options, given the lateness I opted for one, it was good, but the instructions to enter underground car park & accommodation was extremely very poor, resulting in me getting very stressed & having to phone the letting agent, wasn't happy at all, they apologised & said they'd get back to me, after they read the instructions of an email I got, still awaiting their reply. Disappointed"

"Lovely accommodation for our 5 families to get together... 10 adults, 4 children and 3 dogs. Location is perfect, right in the centre of Darlington with parks close by for the children. A little bit dated but absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Great big bay windows for people watching onto the street was also a massive bonus (although the windows only opened from the bottom up so dangerous for the little ones and dogs, just to bare in mind, but not a negative in anyway!) "The property is spotless and the owner Ryan was great, he kept in contact to make sure everything was ok. The location was ideal for a walk up to the lighthouse to watch the dolphins. Great gin bar just down the road and the Italian restaurant a few doors down at the Roker hotel was excellent."

"The house/garden was perfect for us to stop for the night with 3x children. It would have been good to have thicker curtains/or kind of black-out curtains for the bedrooms. The combinations of summer nights and the street lights made life a bit tricker to get children to settled for the night, but the beds was comfortable and big enough to share! The house is literally 3 min drive away for Morrison and that was a bonus as well."

"A home from home! My daughter & I had a lovely week exploring Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Whitby, Skelton, York, Thornton-le-Dale, the Moors, Helmsley, Redcar etc! The apartment is in a great location with all the required necessities & the bonus of free parking on the road outside the apartment. The apartment was clean upon arrival and check-in was smooth (with a keycode being sent to my phone via text). "Arrived a few hours early, and the lady on the front desk was really friendly and got us checked into our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff at breakfast were very nice and the food was very nice also very fresh. She even made my son a bacon sandwich because he couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed 😂. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"Nice property in a central location, close to the beach and promenade, as well as local restaurants and bars. Good base for exploring the local area, close to Staithes, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Flat was spacious and clean, having everything you would need for a short break. Only grumble was strict check-in/out policy, not being able to access entry until 4pm, and early check-out by 10am."

"I was staying for 3 weeks , when I arrived I had to contact the people to get the access code as they did not send it as I had an overseas contact number . If I had arrived after dark you would never find the key box as there is no lighting in the area where access is. "Brilliant place to stay as a family, very clean and lovely place to stay, location by a private farm in the sticks you’re surrounded by grass, views, water and horses it’s beautiful. Great size accommodation and with modern kitchen and bathroom making staying here great. Located close to mainly areas, Beamish, Newcastle, Durham etc. Can’t recommend this place enough a lovely cozy warm stay."
