Private, quiet, beautiful, unique and the grounds/garden/stream was magical and we were greeted by a small deer! Serena is very friendly and helpful even when calling her after 10pm for help. "Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

"We stayed here for my sisters hen do and had the best time! The house was great (although you could use some more mirrors around the place but us girls made it work 😂). The secret garden was a nice place for sunset drinks and there’s a bigger field we were able to use for laser clay pigeon shooting! The grounds are beautiful. From the moment I walked in the door I was speechless it certainly has the WOW factor The house is jaw Droppingly Beautiful everybody who attended couldn’t believe how Beautiful it was. It was described as Stunning, Unbelievable, Amazing were just a few words used The photos do not do it justice!! The house was warm and inviting and had lovely cosy areas. "Filthy dirty.Needed a deep clean .Bad odour as you entered the property. Kitchen oven and extractor fan need serious attention as full of grease and grime which smelt disgusting .Advertised as fully equipped kitchen but lacked items such as colander and cork screw. Glasses needed washing before we could use them. We could only use 2 of the 3bathrooms as the en-suite was full of mould and smelt disgusting. The window surrounds were covered with thick black mould."

"The Dovecote is something very special indeed - a charming idyll tucked away behind the Old Manor in Letcombe Regis, in itself a beautiful village. A place to be completely at ease. Our stay was made very comforable by the hospitality of Elspeth, a most attentive and gracious host. We spent a happy and peaceful Christmas weekend here, and shall cherish the memories for years to come."

"Had a great 2 night stay at House of Fisher. The staff were exceedingly helpful in recommending interesting places to visit. The apartment hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Reading and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants "

"If located at the front of the building, there’s a lot of noise and light from the street and at all hours. You’ll need to bring earplugs and eye mask! Also, be aware that the hot water cylinder only heats overnight, so not unusual to have no hot water in the evenings! Building could do with refurbishment."

"Clean and comfortable, but would benefit from refurbishment! If flat is on the front of the building, there’s a lot of noise and light from the street, at all hours! There are no blackout blinds, so bring an eye mask! Double glazing reduces the noise, but you’ll need ear plugs if sleeping with windows open. The hot water cylinder only heats up at night, so it’s not unusual to have no hot water in the evenings!"
