The hotel is located just across the train station and in a walking distance to quite a few good restaurants.
Other than the fact that the TV set is very old and that there are no English speaking station on TV, the room was very comfortable. One complaint: The Wi-Fi setup was not so good – you have to get a new code each day and it doesn’t remember your password and therefore, each time you log in (during the day) you have to type the password.
The hotel staff were all very helpful and breakfast was excellent by any standard.
The lobby, bar and restaurant are excellent, there is an Argentinian Malbec which is outstanding the filet steak amazing - no need to go out. Staff are superb.
The room was supposed to be premium but pared down Euro styling bit jarring for my taste. Like being in a cross between an Ikea set and a careers office! Motivational words on the ceiling! Say no more!
One problem, I booked 2 months in advance but on departure my partner offered to pay and instead of transferring my rate over the hotel charged the prevailing higher rate for that day. No argument when I brought it to their attention but as always check your bill.
I'd go back for the location, the staff and the restaurant.
Hotel good . You need to do plenty of walking as rail station is about a 15 min walk but the connections are excellent with only a 20 min half our journey to main city centre and fares are very reasonable
About 15 km southwest of Stuttgart, Sindelfingen's economy is mostly based on the car industry. Daimler has a factory here, as does the maker of the Smart car. Film producer, director, and author Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow ) is from Sindelfingen.
